Carpe Librum

YCN / HMV STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION 2020

Carpe Librum is a book store concept designed for HMV, with the idea for customers to have the opportunity to design and custom order books. The idea is that if a customer is wanting a specific cover for a book and the store doesn’t have it in stock, the store is able to print the book within a time frame whilst the customer enjoys a cup of coffee. The space is tailored to reader that enjoy collecting books, allowing book lovers to collect specific covers for their shelves.
